Moab or Bust...?

...and it was kinda a bust :( The purpose of our trip was to run a half marathon in Moab, Utah. But after camping in the freezing cold, getting no sleep, and fighting off sickness, we decided not to run our half marathon. SO instead we found our way to Dead Horse Point...a place I've always wanted to visit.  I felt black and white was an a appropriate medium too since Ansel Adams is one of my favorite photographers...so this is a shout out post to him (Haha, pretty sure Mr. Adams never expected to get a shout out post on someone's blog, sheesh)!

New Mexico: Meeting Mr. B

Part of my adventure in New Mexico was meeting with Mr. B.  In his prime, Mr. B maintained several greenhouses, that were chuck full of beautiful roses! Word on the street is he supplied the roses for the Rose Bowl parade floats, and on Valentine's Day, and Mother's Day he could easily sell a million roses. That is some serious rose growin' power! Sadly, his operation is no longer up and running, but it was neat to explore, and think about what it used to be!

Adventures

It seems like I'm always up to some adventure huh? Last week I went to New Mexico and Moab...I've got some stellar pictures coming your way soon! I'm also just about caught up editing the last couple of months shoots (finally).  Just in time for more shoots :) Here's to a new week of photo worthy adventures!
