Bright and early Saturday morning...
Every year for the 4th of July, Provo throws a fantastic Freedom Festival...complete with parades, concerts, a little fair, and of course fireworks...oh it's great! This morning as part of the festivities, there was the hot air balloon launching. So. Cool. (It did require getting up at 5:30 in the a.m....I'm a little tired to say the least. So worth it though!)

Great shots! Looks like you got there early enough to see them get started. I think I showed up around 6:30 and they were already up and getting away. I only managed to get a few shots. It's always cool being able to see different photogs. perspectives of the same event!
